I absolutely love shooting at the Oregon Golf Club in the summer.  It is brimming with beautiful roses around every turn.  I also am reminded that my kids learned how to swim in their pool a few summers ago. I second shot this wedding with my friend, Andrea Zajonc Photography and just had to post some of my favorites. These lovely people were so fun to photograph and they were just overflowing with positive energy.  I also was obsessed with the pink peonies everywhere, so gorgeous. If you’re planning a wedding at the Oregon Golf Club in West Linn, please contact me. I’d love to hear from you!

I love these bridesmaids dresses from Rent the Runway.  This is probably one of my favorite color palettes to shoot.

The light in the entry way of the Oregon Golf Club is so magical.

Oregon Golf Club Wedding

`This girl twirling her dress in the wind took me back to being a little girl and feeling like a princess when I got to dress up and go to weddings and other events. Such a good reminder to always stay playful.

Ok I know I’m posting too many of these sunset photos, but holy moly these two were on fire.  I always think it’s a great idea to take twenty minutes around sunset to get some relaxed and romantic photos of the couple. By that time, some of the nerves of the day have subsided and they’ve had a chance to get a bite to eat and have a glass of wine. My advice to couples is to just feel their feelings and try and be as playful as possible during these photos. Touch faces and hands and dance and sway. Kiss each others’ cheeks and foreheads and whisper silly things in each other’s ears.  The results are beautiful and authentic photos that feel like “you” rather than super stiff poses.
